Shillong, Sept 03: Meghalaya reported 109 new COVID-19 positive cases on Thursday , taking total active cases to 1220.
In East Khasi Hills district, 78 new cases were reported (Armed Forces/Para Military Forces: 10 and Others : 68), West Garo Hills 15 (Armed Forces/Para Military Forces: 08 and Others : 07) ,Ri Bhoi 13, South Garo Hills 02 and West Jaintia Hills 01.
New recovered cases 75 were reported , in East Khasi Hills district 58, North Garo Hills 04, West Garo Hills 12 and West Khasi Hills01, total recovered 1393.
Out of 1220 total active cases, in East Khasi Hills 833 (Armed Forces/Para Military Forces: 173 and Others : 616). In west Khasi Hills District 44 cases , Ri Bhoi district 84 (Armed Forces/Para Military Forces: 08 and Others : 76), West Jaintia Hills district 03 , East Jaintia Hills district 23, West Garo Hills district 121 (Armed Forces/Para Military Forces:75 and Others :46), South West Garo Hills district 03, South Garo Hills district 21, East Garo Hills district 83 and North Garo Hills district 05.
The total COVID 19 cases so far recorded in the state is 2,626 which includes thirteen deaths due to COVID-19 have been reported so far.
