Shillong, Nov 21: Two more COVID-19 patient died in Meghalaya, taking the fatality count in the State to 108, while 117 more persons tested positive for COVID-19, taking the number of active cases to 925 on Saturday .
78 new recoveries has been reported today, taking total number of recovered patients to 10,236.
According to the Health department , of the fatality reported , two from East Khasi Hills succumbs to deadly virus.

1. Haricharan Das 45 yrs/M, Lower New Colony, Shillong, EK Hills.
Covid Positive on 18-11-2020. Admitted in NEIGRIHMS Hospital on 19-11-2020 at 2.15 AM.
Expired on 19-11-2020 at 3.00 AM.
Diagnosis: Covid 19 with Type I Respiratory Failure with Multiple Seizures with Status Epilepticus with Aspiration Pneumonia.
2. Alphinia Umsong 5 yrs/F, Mawkhap, Pynursla, EK Hills.
Admitted in Ganesh Das Govt. MCH Hospital on 20-11-2020 at 12.03 PM.
Covid Positive on 20-11-2020.
Expired on 20- 11-2020 at 2.55 PM.
Diagnosis: Acute Gastroenteritis with Severe Dehydration with Covid 19.

Fresh 78 COVID-19 recovered cases were 24 from East Khasi Hills district (Health worker- 01,High Risk- 12,ILI case- 01,Laitumkhrah cluster- 05,Mawprem cluster- 01,Returnee- 03 and SARI case- 01), 20 from East Garo Hills (High Risk- 04 and Williamnagar Bazaar cluster- 16), West Garo Hills district (Armed force/ Para-military force- 01,Health worker- 01,High risk- 08 and Screening purpose- 02), 09 from West Jaintia Hills district (High risk- 01 and Khimusiang cluster- 08), 07 from Ri Bhoi district (High risk- 01,ILI case- 05 and NEPA cluster- 01), 03 high risk from East Jaintia Hills district, 02 from South West Garo Hills district (Health worker- 01 and High Risk- 01) and 01 high risk from North Garo Hills district.
Till date, the State has registered 11,269 COVID-19 cases, of which 925 are active,108 deceased and 10,236 have recovered.
