The 3DPCOE Hackathon 2024, a two-day event organized by AMTRON at the Assam Administrative Staff College ended yesterday with Grand prizes going to the winning teams. This is a 100% Centrally Sponsored project by the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Government of India under the PM DEVINE scheme and executed by AMTRON, a PSU of the Assam Government with active support from educational institutions across India.
The 3DP COE hackathon attracted a diverse group of 300 Participants across the North Eastern Region and PAN India including very bright minds from Atal Innovation Mission-supported educational institutions across India.
The event was presided over by Shri Narsing Pawar, IAS Managing Director of Assam Electronics Development Corporation Limited (AMTRON ) with an inspiring opening address. Following the inauguration and some engaging Industry and Institutional speakers panels the participants set out to compete in 5 categories. MSME- Industry 4.0, Healthcare, Agri, ATL (Atal Tinkering labs ) and Others.
Team AMTRON was assisted by Dr Sajan Kapil from IIT, Guwahati and TiE-Delhi NCR Chapter team managed the event and delivered one of the most engaging and exciting competitions held in the North East Region. Participants were immersed in a competitive environment, showcasing their innovative ideas and technological skills using Industry 4.0 Tools. The 3DPCOE Hackathon 2024 is not only a platform for showcasing talent but also an opportunity for participants to network with industry experts and potential investors to shape their dreams to reality. The event is the first such event to foster a vibrant ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship in the North East Region.

2. Category B (Atal Tinkering Labs under Atal Innovation Mission) – The ATL category had a mix of very young and dynamic presenters wherein 5 Teams from across India were selected and each team was awarded a prize pool of Rs 10 Lakh.
