SHILLONG, JAN 23: A spree of more than 50 leaders belonging to NPP and UDP on Monday joined the opposition All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) in Ri Bhoi district.
The leaders were welcomed by AITC state vice president and Umroi candidate George B Lyngdoh and Member of Parliament and Leader of AITC Parliamentary Party, Rajya Sabha, Derek O’Brien in Umroi constituency.
The people gathered also interacted with the two vibrant TMC leaders while conveying their grievances.
The Umroi candidate assured to uplift the lives of the people and urged them to have faith in Meghalaya TMC, promising that the upcoming government will listen to the issue of the people and act towards the holistic development of the people.
