Shillong, Nov 18: One more COVID-19 patient died in Meghalaya, taking the fatality count in the State to 103, while 79 more persons tested positive for COVID-19, taking the number of active cases to 753 on Wednesday.
59 new recoveries has been reported today, taking total number of recovered patients to 10014.
New 79 COVID-19 positive cases were 52 from East Khasi Hills district (High risk- 19,Returnee- 05,Armed forces/ Para-military- 11,Police Personnel- 01,Health worker- 04,Laitumkhrah cluster- 02,Madanrting cluster- 02,Mawprem cluster- 02,Nongmensong cluster- 01,Nongrah cluster- 04 and Nongthymmai cluster- 01), 13 from West Garo Hills district(High risk- 10,Screening purpose- 01 and Returnee- 02), 06 high risk from East Jaintia Hills district, 03 from East Garo Hills district(High risk- 01,Health worker- 01 and Police Personnel- 01), 02 high risk from North Garo Hills district, 02 high risk from West Jaintia Hills district and 01 high risk from South West Garo Hills district.
Newly 59 COVID-19 recovered cases were 14 from East Khasi Hills district(High risk- 07,ILI case- 02,Laitumkhrah Cluster- 03 and Madanryting Cluster- 02), 14 from West Garo Hills district(High risk- 09,Screening purpose- 02 and Returnee- 03), 11 from West Jaintia Hills district(Ladthalaboh Cluster – 01,ILI case- 01,Salaroh cluster- 05 and Moosalyngkat cluster- 04), 10 from Ri Bhoi district(High risk- 09 and Police Personnel- 01), 05 factory workers from East Jaintia Hills district, 04 high risk from North Garo Hills district and o1 high risk from East Garo Hills district.
Till date, the State has registered 10,870 COVID-19 cases, of which 753 are active,103 deceased and 10014 have recovered.
