SHILLONG, JUNE 6: Chief Ministers of Assam and Meghalaya will jointly visit West Jaintia Hills and Karbi Anglong area by the end of this month.

informing this, Chief Minsiter Conrad K Sangma said the joint visit will be towards the end of June.

He said that the two chief ministers will go to certain areas where there have been a lot of tensions. “The idea is to build up the confidence of the people out there and also to send a positive message to the people that we are serious to find a solution to this border problem,” Sangma said.
