Shillong, Jan 04: With COVID-19 Omicron cases in other states shows surge , the Meghalaya government has decided to continue with the containment measures across the state.
“And in view of the observed high transmissibility of this particular variant of the virus, it is deemed necessary to take urgent measures to prevent the spread of the covid-19 virus to avoid an overwhelming strain on the health system and to avoid the loss of precious lives,,” a notification from the state government said.
