Shillong, Aug 24: Meghalaya on Tuesday registered 162 new COVID-19 cases, which pushed the tally of active cases to 2,820, the health department said in a bulletin.
Meanwhile, the state also records 268 new recovered cases in last 24 hours, with this the total recovered cases reaches 7,0127.
04 more succumbs to the infections in last 24 hours, taking total number of fatalities from COVID-19 infection to 1,285 so far.
