Shillong, June 1: Meghalaya on Tuesday registered 467 new COVID-19 cases, which pushed the tally of active cases to 6,606, the health department said in a bulletin.
Meanwhile, the state also records 760 new recovered cases in last 24 hours, with this the total recovered cases reaches 28,867.
14 more succumbs to the infections in last 24 hours, taking total number of fatalities from COVID-19 infection to 592 so far.
COVID-19 recovery rate in the state improves showing tremendous progress compared to positive case since last few days.
State health department data showed that 28,867 Covid-19 patients have recovered from their viral infection and discharged from various healthcare facilities in the state to date.
