Shillong, Aug 03: Meghalaya on Tuesday registered 556 new COVID-19 cases, which pushed the tally of active cases to 5,574, the health department said in a bulletin.
Meanwhile, the state also records 816 new recovered cases in last 24 hours, with this the total recovered cases reaches 59,803.
09 more succumbs to the infections in last 24 hours, taking total number of fatalities from COVID-19 infection to 1,118 so far.
