COVID 19: With recoveries outnumbering positive cases, graph flattens in Meghalaya

Meghalaya registers another COVID-19 death, toll rises ton 144

Shillong, Nov 30: As many as 70 more persons tested positive for COVID-19, taking the number of active cases to 763 on Monday.

Whereas, with 75 persons cured in a day, recoveries outnumber positive , taking total number of recovered patients to 10,936. Total fatality count in the State so far 111 till date.

New 70 COVID-19 positive cases were 53 East Khasi Hills district(High risk- 05,ILI Case- 03,Armed forces/ Para-military force- 02,Returnee- 13,Health worker- 02,Golflinks cluster- 02,Happy Valley cluster- 21,Nongthymmai cluster- 02 and Rynjah cluster- 03), 04 West Garo Hills district(High risk- 01 and Damalgre cluster- 03), ) 04 returnee from East Jaintia Hills district, 04 high risk from Ri Bhoi District, 04 from West Khasi Hills district(High risk- 02 and Random Sampling- 02) and 01 high risk from South Garo hills district.

Fresh 75   COVID-19  recovered cases were 52 from East Khasi Hills district(High risk- 10,ILI case- 04,Returnee- 03,Armed forces/ Para-military force- 02,Police Personnel- 02,Health worker- 03,Happy Valley cluster- 01,Keating road cluster- 01,Lapalang cluster- 02,Mawkhar cluster- 01,Mawlai Kynton Massar cluster- 01,Mawlai Nongkwar cluster- 01,Mawlai Umthlong cluster-11,Nongmensong cluster- 01,Nongrim cluster- 02,Nongthymmai cluster- 03,Pynthor cluster- 01 and Rilbong cluster- 03), 12 from South Garo Hills district(High risk- 04,Police Perssonel- 02 and Siju Damikgittim cluster- 06), 07 from West Garo Hills district(High risk- 05,ILI case- 01 and Cherangre cluster- 1), 03 Ri Bhoi district(Armed forces/ Para-military force- 01,Health worker- 01 and Returnee- 01) and 01 High risk from East Garo hills district.

Till date, the State has registered 11,810 COVID-19 cases, of which 763 are active,111 deceased and 10,936 have recovered.
