Shillong, Sept. 26: New recoveries have exceeded the new cases for last few days, Meghalaya reported 311 single-day highest recoveries and 54 new COVID-19 positive cases on Saturday.
311 patients who have recovered on Saturday includes 234 from East Khasi Hills district ( 35 Armed Force/Para Military Force, 199 Others) , East Jaintia Hills 51, 07 from West Garo Hills, 16 from Ri Bhoi District , West Khasi Hills 02 and west Jaintia Hills 01 . Total tally of recoveries stands at 3,654.
Out 0f 54 new positive cases in East Khasi Hills district, 31 new cases were reported (Armed Forces/Para Military Forces: 00 and others 31 ), West Garo Hills 12 (12 Others),East Garo hills 06 ( 0thers), Ri Bhoi 02 (others), besides South Garo Hills , East Jaintia hills and West Jaintia Hills 01 each positive case were reported. Total tally of active cases in the state stands at 1,515.
Meghalaya has detected a total of 5,212 COVID 19 cases with 43 deaths so far.
