Shillong, Nov 7: Governor, Brig. (Retd.) (Dr.) B.D. Mishra  on the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak has extended his greetings and good wishes to the people of Meghalaya particularly the Sikh of the state and the nation.
“Guru Nanak Dev Ji showed us the path of spiritualism, purity and justice,†Governor, Brig. (Retd.) (Dr.) Mishra said.
The Governor also urged the people to resolve and follow Guru Nanak’s teachings and rededicate themselves to the cause of humanism, justice and brotherhood.
“May we imbibe the noble teachings of the Guru in our daily lives and strengthen the bonds of unity and solidarity in our society,†he said.
