At the meeting Shangpliang told the Chief Minister, not much funds would be required if Civil Sub Division is considered for Mawsynram for the reason that there is already a lot of infrastructure in the area.

According to the legislator, the Chief Minister told the delegation that all these factors will be taken into account while the list for consideration of Civil Sub Divisions is mulled.

During the meeting the delegation also discussed the remoteness of the area, the underdeveloped roads and poor communications.
