Shillong, Jan 17: He also informed that the State Cabinet taking into consideration that the need of the early childhood development for the holistic development of children the Cabinet also approved the Early Childhood Development Mission.
The Minister said that under this Mission there will be a convergence of the Social Welfare, Health, Education departments and all stakeholders so that the children will get the benefit of health care education in the State.
Moreover Rymbui also informed that there are 1500 plus villages which are not served by the ICDS or Anganwadi programme but with the implementation of this Mission, the government hopes that it will be able to cater to the need of the children who needs care at early stage.
