Shillong, Apr 30: The state recorded two more Covid death, 229 fresh cases and 166 new recovered cases on Friday.
Health authorities informed that the total Covid death has climbed to 166, active cases is now 1,592 and 15,083 have recovered from the virus.
With this, the total number of fatalities has gone upto 171.
Of the 1,592 active cases, 1,072 are in East Khasi Hills district, 101 in West Jaintia Hills, 164 in Ri-Bhoi, 40 in West Khasi Hills, 80 in East Jaintia Hills, 70 in West Garo Hills, 17 in South West Khasi Hills, 20 in East Garo Hills, 11 in North Garo Hills, 12 in South Garo Hills district and 05 in South West Garo Hills district.
