Meghalaya records 22 new cases, 18 recovers from COVID-19

235 recovers in Meghalaya, 79 fresh COVID cases detected

Shillong, Jan 04: The state on Monday recorded 22 new COVID-19 cases and 18 persons recovered from the virus taking the number of active cases to 139 and the total recovered ones to 13,204, authorities informed.

According to the health department 22 new cases,  18 from East Khasi Hills district(Health worker- 06,High Risk- 04,ILI case- 01,Laitumkhrah cluster- 01,Mawprem cluster- 01,Returnee- 04,Rilbong cluster- 01), 02 High Risk from East Jaintia Hills and 02 from West Jaintia Hills District(High risk-01 and Dongmihsngi- 01).

Of the 18 recovered cases, all 18 from East Khasi Hills district(Armed force/Para-military force- 01,Health worker- 01,High risk- 04,Laitumkhrah cluster- 06,Madanryting cluster- 01,Nongrim Hills cluster- 03 and Rynjah cluster- 02)
