Shillong, Dec 03: Two more COVID-19 patient died in Meghalaya, taking the fatality count in the State to 116, while 52 more persons tested positive for COVID-19, taking the number of active cases to 648 on Thursday.
87 new recoveries has been reported today, taking total number of recovered patients to 11,241.
According to the Health department , latest fatality reported, two patients who succumbs to virus were 01 each from East Khasi Hills district and West Garo Hills district
New 52 COVID-19 positive cases were 32 from East Khasi Hills district(High risk- 20,SARI- 01,Armed forces/ Para-military force- 04,Returnee- 01,Health worker- 01,Laitumkhrah cluster- 03 and Madanrting cluster- 02), 12 from West Garo Hills district(High risk- 09,Armed forces/ Para-military force- 01 and Returnee- 02), 04 high risk from Ri Bhoi district, 03 from West Jaintia Hills district(High risk- 02 and Health worker- 01) and 01 returnee from West Khasi Hills district.
Fresh 87 COVID-19 recovered cases were 51 from East Khasi Hills district(High risk- 17,ILI case- 01,Returnee- 03,Armed forces/ Para-military force- 02,Health worker- 04,Police Personnel- 02,Golflink cluster- 01,Jhalupara cluster- 01,Laban cluster- 01,Laitumkhrah cluster- 04,Madanrting cluster- 01,Mawlai Mawroh cluster- 01,Mawprem cluster- 02,Nongmensong cluster- 01,Pynthorbah cluster- 07 and Sunny hills cluster- 03), 20 from South Garo Hills district(Siju Dajonggitim cluster), 06 from West Garo Hills district(High risk- 05 and Health worker- 01), 04 high risk from South West Garo Hills district, 03 from West Jaintia Hills district(High risk- 01,ILI case- 01 and Khimusniang cluster- 01), 02 returnee from Ri Bhoi district and 01 high risk from East Garo Hills district.
Till date, the State has registered 12,005 COVID-19 cases, of which 648 are active,116 deceased and 11,241 have recovered.
