Meghalaya registers another COVID-19 death, toll rises ton 144

Shillong, Oct. 21: Meghalaya’s Covid-19 graph flattens as recovery rate climbs higher than new cases since last few days, meanwhile  177 new COVID-19 recoveries were reported  while 28 tested positive for viral infection on Wednesday.

The new cases were 28 from East Khasi Hills district (high risk- 07, SARI case- 01, Jaiaw cluster- 01, Laban cluster- 01, Madanryting cluster- 01, Police personnel- 01) 06 from West Garo Hills district (high risk- 05, Returnee- 01) 05 from West Jaintia Hills (high risk- 03, ILI case- 02) 02 from East Garo Hills district (Health worker- 01, Police personnel- 01) 02 from South Garo Hills district (health worker- 01, Police personnel- 01) and 01 from East Jaintia Hills district (Factory worker).

The 177 patients who have recovered on Wednesday were 104 from East Khasi Hills district(Armed forces/ Para-military force- 01, Bishnupur cluster- 01, Golflink cluster- 03, High Risk- 29, IGP cluster- 01, Jaiaw cluster- 06, Laban cluster- 04, Madanryting cluster- 03, Mawkhar cluster- 01, Mawlai Nonglum cluster- 14, Nongmynsong cluster- 01, Oakland road cluster- 03, Police Bazar cluster- 01, Polo cluster – 01, Pynumkhrah Cluster- 24, Rilbong cluster- 09, Rynjah cluster- 02) 43 from Ri Bhoi district (Armed forces/ Para-military force- 37, High risk- 04, NEPA cluster- 02) 14 from West Garo Hills district(high risk- 13, Returnee- 01) 07 from North Garo Hills (high risk) 03 from West Jaintia Hills district (high risk) 02 from South West Garo Hills district (high risk- 01, Police personnel- 01) 02 from South West Khasi Hills district (high risk) and 02 from West Khasi Hills district(high risk- 01, Police personnel- 01).
