Shillong, Jan 14: Police informed that miscreants abandoned two motorcycles in East Jaintia Hills district after they were asked to stop at a checkpoint.
According to police, on January 11 at about 4 am, they signalled two motorcycles to stop for checking at Wahkoh area under Umkinag PPP.
However, the riders of both motorcycles sped away and later abandoned the motorcycles – AS-11C-0711) and another without ra egistration number and fled away.
The motorcycles are being kept at Umkiang PPP for safe custody.
In another incident, one Liush Marak lodged a complaint that on January 11, his scooter (ML-13A-6987) was found missing from Resubelpara in North Garo Hills district.
