Shillong, Mar 22: The State on Monday did not record any new COVID-19 cases even as one person from Ri-Bhoi district recovered from the virus, health authorities informed.
Director of Health Services (MI), Dr. Aman War informed that the number of active cases in Meghalaya is now at 29 and the total number of recovered cases stands at 13, 838.
East Khasi Hills district has 22 active cases, Ri-Bhoi six and West Garo Hills one.
Dr. War informed that the total number of persons tested till date for COVID-19 is 3, 92, 474 of which 3, 78, 458 tested negative.
The state recorded 14,016 confirmed cases of which 149 have died. The number of test conducted on March 22 is approximately 700.
The number of entrants from outside Meghalaya till Monday afternoon was 97,030.
Meanwhile, the vaccination achievement for health care workers till Monday afternoon for the first dose is 21,014, second dose its 12,905.
For the frontline workers for the first dose its 30, 302 and second dose its 9,222.
The Director of Health Services informed that vaccination for general public based on the eligible age group till date is 16,618 for the first dose.
