Shillong, April. 13: Ten Officer Trainees (OTs) from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi, part of the Indian Information Service (IIS) Group’s today paid a courtesy call on the Hon’ble Governor of Meghalaya, Shri Phagu Chauhan, at Raj Bhavan, Shillong.
Their visit is a part of their learning experience inorder to gain insight into the region and its communication dynamics. The meeting involved insightful discussions on the communication landscape of Meghalaya and the broader roles of media in public service. The visit also provided a platform for the Officer Trainees to gain insights from the Hon’ble Governor, who offered valuable guidance and encouragement, emphasizing the importance of effective communication
