One more patient dies of COVID-19 in Meghalaya, 88 persons test positive

Shillong, Sep 06: Another COVID-19 patient died in Meghalaya, taking the fatality count in the State to 16, while 88 more persons tested positive for COVID-19, taking the number of active cases to 1433 on Sunday.

In East Khasi Hills district, 35 new cases were reported (Armed Forces/Para Military Forces: 15 and Others : 20), West Garo Hills 39 (Armed Forces/Para Military Forces: 12 and Others : 27) ,Ri Bhoi 01, South Garo Hills 04, West Jaintia Hills 01, North Garo Hills 04, South, West Garo Hills 01 and East Jaintia Hills 03.

New recovered cases 29 were reported , in East Khasi Hills district 04, West Garo Hills 10, Ri Bhoi 04 and  South Garo Hills 11, total recovered 1556.

Out of 1220 total active cases, in East Khasi Hills 945 (Armed Forces/Para Military Forces: 181 and Others : 764). In west Khasi Hills District 31 cases , Ri Bhoi district 117  (Armed Forces/Para Military Forces: 29 and Others : 88), West Jaintia Hills district 09, East Jaintia Hills district 28, West Garo Hills district 174 (Armed Forces/Para Military Forces:104 and Others :70), South West Garo Hills district 04, South Garo Hills district15, East Garo Hills district 97 and North Garo Hills district 12.

The total COVID 19 cases so far recorded in the state is 3,005 which includes Sixteen deaths due to COVID-19 have been reported so far.
