Shillong Sept 2: Around 3,059 students will appear the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in Meghalaya for MBBS and BDS courses to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on September 13.
Education Minister, Lahkmen Rymbui said that the centres for NEET exam in Meghalaya include BSF senior secondary school (300 candidates), B K Bajoria (240 candidates), Kendra Vidyalaya Happy Valley (240 candidates), Assam Rifles Public School, Laitkor (119 candidates), KV Laitkor (180 candidates), Army Public School Shillong 101 Area (360 candidates), KV EAC Upper Shillong (360 candidates), Meghalaya NIT Laitumkhrah (420 candidates) and USTM 9th Miles Ri-Bhoi district (840 candidates).
Meanwhile Rymbui informed that around 987 candidates in Meghalaya are appearing the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for B.tech/B.E courses being conducted by NTA from September 1 to 6.
