Shillong Sept 25: The Meghalaya government has decided to allow re-opening of places of worship from October 1.
Deputy Chief Minister of Meghalaya Prestone Tynsong informed that the standard operating procedure (SOP) and protocols which were discussed with different Religious Leaders under the banner Shillong All Faith Forum (SAFF) have been finalised.
An order in this regard has been issued by the Chief Secretary M S Rao on Friday night.
