Shillong, Sep 8: On Wednesday evening sleuths of the Anti Narcotics Trafficking Force East Khasi Hills district in a swift operation first arrested four drug traffickers near the bus shed at Dhankheti.
Pollingstar David Nongsiej @ Lease (34), Haokholal Vaite (32), Thangabui Thado (44), Jessie Lalsangzual (33) was then arrested at Dhankheti Parking Lot.
The items seized were 15 soap cases and three vials containing 188.40 grams of Heroin worth Rs 75 lakhs, five mobile phones, one Yamaha Ray ZR 125 scooty and cash amounting to Rs 1, 64, 820.
A case vide Laitumkhrah PS Case No. 127(9)22 u/s 21(b) / 29 NDPS Act has been registered and investigation into the matter is on.
