Shillong Sept 17: The Meghalaya BJP conducted various activities on the occasion of 70th Birthday of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Cleaning drive and pplantation of trees at Golflinks was carried out besides seeding of fish at Umsohlang river, The tree plantation and cleaning drive was held at Nongkrem as well as all the ddistricts of Garo Hills, Ri-Bhoi and Jaintia Hills District. On the occasion, the BJP ccelebrated Modi's birthday with the cutting of cake at the BJP office by State President,Ernest Mawrie and Health Minister A.L Hek.
