Shillong, Sep 22: The Women’s Tyllilang Basketball Academy Team would be taking part in the first ever All India Basketball Tournament called 5X5 Basketball Championship organized by the Himalayan International Residential School, Siliguri in association with Hoopster’s Hub.
This is said to be one of the biggest tournaments to ever happen in North Bengal.
The tournament will be held from September 24 to 26.
The team comprises young talents from many districts of the state where they have been practicing to take part in this tournament.
The Tyllilang Basketball Academy management team also informed that the games will be streamed live on their Facebook page and requested the basketball lovers of the state to come online and support the team for its first-ever big tournament outside the state.
The management has also thanked the sponsors Zanya Fashion House, True North Leisure Center, and Um Rupa who made this possible for these players who are hungry for such exposure to showcase their talents.
