Tynsong alleges that Mukul is likely to join BJP after 2023 polls

SHILLONG, FEB 2: National People’s Party (NPP) leader and deputy chief minister Prestone Tynsong on Thursday alleged that the Leader of Opposition Mukul Sangma and his team will join the BJP after the 2023 elections.

Speaking to reporters, Tynsong said, “I know his (Mukul) plan. If he wins 3-5 seats he will join the BJP. It is true that there is some kind of arrangement made, in what way I don’t know but Mukul will come out of the TMC.”

He urged the people not to trust Mukul and his leadership.

“Anytime he can jump anywhere as he knows very well that he will not get many seats (in the coming elections).”

Tynsong said there is absolutely no truth in the allegation of Mukul that NPP is B-team of the BJP as he himself is surely to join the BJP after the elections.
