Shillong, Dec 1: Bihar took a first innings lead of 120 at the end of the opening day of their first U-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy match of the season in Vadodara today.
Made to bat first after Bihar won the toss, Meghalaya were all out for 90 and Bihar were on 210/4 at stumps.
Three Meghalaya batters got into double figures – Justin Fancon (18), Jarrett M Wanniang (16) and Number 11 Benedict Jones Makdoh (10).
In Bihar’s first innings, Angkit Tamang captured 2/49, Gaurav Jyoti Thakuria 1/38 and Makdoh 1/51.
