Shillong, Apr 15: Meghalaya continues to surge in positive cases , with 97 people testing positive for the viral infection on Thursday, taking the number of active cases up to 457.
According to daily health bulletin the new cases included 93 in East Khasi Hills district, 02 each in West Jaintia Hills district and Ri-Bhoi district.
East Khasi Hills is the worst affected district with 360 active cases, West Jaintia Hills 58, Ri-Bhoi 23, East Jaintia Hills 06, West Garo Hills 05, West Khasi Hills 04 and South West Khasi Hills 01.
As on date, Meghalaya has registered 14,582 COVID-19 cases, including 151 deaths, 363 active cases and 13,974 cases of recovery.
