Shillong, Apr 27: Commissioner & Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department has informed that based on the recommendation of the State Medical Expert Committee, the state government has issued advisory to all persons irrespective of the date of visit to Bethany Hospital that if anyone is having symptoms of dry cough, fever and difficulty in breathing, should report immediately to 108 or visit nearest hospital so that the Government can take steps for testing.

All those who have visited Bethany Hospital on or after 6th April, 2020 are advised to stay under home-quarantine for one more week upto 4th May.

All those who have visited Bethany Hospital, Shillong or Nongpoh before 6th April, 2020 and have completed the quarantine period, they are required to compulsorily wear mask (respiratory etiquette), practice hand-hygiene (using hand-sanitizer / washing hands frequently with soap) and maintain social distancing in both work place and home environment.
