HSSLC examinations for remaining papers commence in Meghalaya

Shillong, June 8: After postponing for more than two months, the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations for the four remaining subjects began on across Meghalaya on Monday.

 

The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) is conducting the examinations by implementing safety protocols laid down by the government in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The examination for Statistics was held on Monday, while Physical Education and Western Music will be held on Tuesday, and Mathematics on Wednesday.

Education department officials said that altogether, 3772 students appeared for Mathematics, 49 for Physical Education, 28 for Western Music and 8 for Statistics.

 

There are also students from foreign countries like Bhutan, Nepal, Myanmar and Bangladesh who will sit for the remaining examinations.
