Bengaluru (Karnataka), Oct 31: Neelmani N Raju has been appointed as Director General and Inspector General of Karnataka Police”>Karnataka Police on Tuesday.
Neelamani, a 1983 batch IPS officer is the first lady to be appointed as the police chief after Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG&IGP) Rupak Kumar Dutta retired on Tuesday.
Raju, was serving as the state intelligence head prior to her appointment on Tuesday.
