Shillong, May 25: The state government has approved the proposal ro set up the temporary wholesale vegetable market at Ïew Mawlong parking lot.

Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong told reporters that the first floor and second floor of the parking lot will be utilized as wholesale vegetable market.

“We have left it to the deputy commissioner, East Khasi Hills to work out the modalities to start the wholesale market at the earliest,” he said.
