Shillong, Jan 25: The state on Monday recorded two new cases and nine recovered from the virus, health authorities informed.
With this the number of active cases has come down to 104 and the total recovered cases stand at 13484.
The two new cases recorded on Monday are from East Khasi Hills district, while of the nine recovered cases – six are from East Khasi Hills, one from West Jaintia Hills, one from East Jaintia Hills and one from North Garo Hills.
East Khasi Hills district remains the most affected with 93 active cases. South West Khasi Hills, West Jaintia Hills, South Garo Hills and East Garo Hills are currently free from COVID-19.
So far, 2748 health workers of the state have been vaccinated since the campaign began nationwide on January 16.
