Shillong Jan 27: The Indian Youth Congress on Monday highlighted its campaign on the growing unemployment crisis in the country, and reiterated their demand for a National Register of Unemployed (NRU).

The Indian Youth Congress has launched a nationwide campaign to highlight the issue of rising unemployment on January 23.

The Meghalaya Pradesh Youth Congress (MPYC) has also started the campaign in the state and lambasted the NDA government led by the BJP at the Centre.

The MPYC said that the demand for NRU is a response to the deplorable state of unemployment in India, which has reached at its highest level in 45 years.
