Shillong, May 09: One more tested positive for COVID-19 in Meghalaya.

Unfortunately we have another positive case in Shillong. It’s a person working in the same house. As a precaution health department was retesting all the primary contacts and in the process we found this positive case. The person is safe and healthy and showing no symptoms.

“Unfortunately we have another positive case in Shillong. It’s a person working in the same house. As a precaution health department was retesting all the primary contacts and in the process we found this positive case. The person is safe and healthy and showing no symptoms,”  Chief minister Conrad K Sangma informed through his twitter account on Saturday afternoon.

This takes the total tally to 2 active COVID-19 cases in the state. 10 others who contracted the virus have recovered and 1 death.
