Shillong,May 12: Thousands takes to the street against women and Child abuse today in Mairang. Dorbar  Umthied Bynther and Dorbar Shnong Pyndemumïong leads the rally against the atrocities over the women and  child during the past few months. From children , youths and old were seen protesting and shouting slogans against crime rise in the region.  

The protest rally also seen  condemning the murder of 7 years girl  on 7th of this month , as per the record she was attempted to rape by one Balajied Kyrpang Nongrum and struggled her to dead. In yet in another incident Mairang had witness the rape of minor few months ago which also  heard in the voice of the protester.

The protester of around 3000 demanded the punishment for the person involved in such inhumane act against child and  women.
