Shillong, June 18: Three more COVID-19 patients in Meghalaya have recovered over the past few days with active positive cases coming down to 10 on Thursday.
Health Minister, A L Hek said, three COVID-19 patients have recovered during the last 24 hours which include one from West Jaiñtia Hills district and another two from East Khasi Hills district.
“They were declared recovered after they have been tested negative twice Wednesday night,” he said.
Meghalaya has recorded a total of 43 COVID-19 positive cases, including one death, 10 active and 32 recoveries.
Hek informed that out of 15,013 swab samples tested till date, 14,675 yielded negative results while the outcome of 295 tests are awaited.
Till Thursday, 16,363 residents of Meghalaya who had been stranded in other parts of the country due to the nationwide lockdown returned to the state.
