Shillong, July 6:  Two personnel of the Meghalaya police have been awarded the “Union Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Police training†for the year 2018-2019.
According to a statement, George A. Momin an Inspector 2nd MLP Bn., Goeragre in West Garo Hills district and  Jiten Klein, Naik, 1st MLP Bn., Mawïong in Shillong have been awarded the “Union Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Police training†by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Bureau of Police Research & Development (Training Division).
George A. Momin was awarded in an indoor category, and Jiten Klein in the outdoor category.
George A. Momin has been serving the police department for more than 26 years and Jiten Klein has been serving for more than 19 years.
