Shillong Apr 17: A total of 25,830 farmers have been released an amount of Rs.2000 each under the PM Kisan Yojana while 6,052 persons have registered with the Chief Minister Secretariat for CM’s Special Grant for stranded people.

The number of persons verified for CM’s Special Grant for stranded people is 458 and the disbursement of financial assistance will start from April 20.

The last date for applications to be accepted is on April 19 till 12 noon.

Under the labour department, the number of Unorganised Labourers registered for Special Assistance of Rs. 2100 each is 1,36,000 labourers.

The number of labourers verified for Special Assistance of Rs. 2100 each is 1.16 lakh.

The number of labourers provided support under BOCW Act of Rs. 3000 each is 9,302 labourers.
