In Tura, examinations are being conducted smoothly across centres in various districts, with arrangements in place to ensure a fair and secure process. In Shillong, students arrived well ahead of time for last-minute revisions before the first paper, English. Examination authorities, including superintendents, invigilators, and police personnel, remained vigilant to maintain order and prevent malpractice.
Early Examination Schedule
This year, MBOSE advanced the SSLC examination schedule compared to previous years to better align with the academic calendar. The move aims to provide students adequate time to pursue higher secondary education without delays.
The revised timetable also supports students who do not clear the examination in their first attempt, with the supplementary examination system, introduced last year, being continued.
Remaining Examination Schedule

Health & Physical Education / Computer Science / Vocational Subjects: February 4
Social Science: February 6

MBOSE has urged students to strictly adhere to examination guidelines, report to centres on time, and avoid any unfair practices, warning that strict action will be taken against violations.
The SSLC Examination remains a critical academic milestone for students in Meghalaya, and officials expressed hope that the revised arrangements would further strengthen the state’s school education system.
