Shillong Oct 6: The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Meghalaya held its 5th annual convocation at Bijni Complex, Laitumkhrah, here on Saturday.

Meghalaya Education Minister, Lahkmen Rymbui was the chief guest at the convocation in the presence of Director of NIT, Meghalaya, Prof. B.B. Biswal and other dignitaries.

Degrees were conferred to 129 B.Tech students, 57 M.Tech students, 30 M.Sc students and 5 PhD scholars at the convocation.

Rymbui also gave away the awards to gold medalist for the year 2018 while the Director of NIT, Meghalaya, presented the degree to the students.
