Mahila Congress to stage protest against Citizenship Amendment Bill on Friday

Shillong Jan 10: The Meghalaya Pradesh Mahila Congress will hold a protest against the Citizenship Amendment Bill in Shillong on Friday.

The protest will be held at Congress Bhavan at 11 am to condemn the BJP-led NDA government for passing the Bill in Lok Sabha.

The Federation of Khasi JaiÃ±tia and Garo People, HynÃ±iewtrep National Youth Front and the Ri-Bhoi Youth Federation will also observe Black Flag Day on Friday from 9am to 3pm here in protest against the passage of the Citizenship Amendment Bill, 2019, in the Lok Sabha.
