Shillong, Dec 17: The Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) will hold a meeting with the traditional chiefs on December 21.

Informing this here on Tuesday, KHADC chief Latiplang Kharkongor said the meeting seeks to resolve to support the protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019 and the demand for implementation of the Inner Line Permit (ILP) in the state.

He said the meeting will also discuss on the need to strengthen the provisions of the Sixth Schedule to the Constitution of India.
