Shillong, Mar 18: The Director of Information and Public Relations, Meghalaya government has informed that all tourist places in the state are closed till 31st March and there is a possibility that this may be extended up to 15th April, 2020.

The announcement came after the spread of Coronavirus which is posing threat globally.

The government has requested all tourists intending to visit Shillong and other places in Meghalaya to re-schedule their travel plans accordingly.

All tourist spots in Meghalaya have been closed in the last few days.
