Shillong Jun 09: An elderly citizen from Ri Bhoi district has tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.

The citizen came from Ri Bhoi district to Shillong.

Updating on twitter on Tuesday, chief minister Conrad K Sangma said,”the person was isolated on arrival and is presently in Shillong. The person is stable and under supervision.”

With this, there are 26 active positive cases out of 40 positive cases.

There are 13 persons who have recovered, and one deceased.
