Shillong, June 12: Four more COVID-19 positive patients have been declared recovered on Friday.
The total number of people who have recovered now is 22.
The persons who have recovered include one in West Garo Hills district, two in East Khasi Hills and one in North Garo Hills.
Meghalaya has recorded 44 COVID-19 positive cases, which include 21 active cases, and one deceased.
Health and Family Welfare Minister, Alexander Laloo Hek informed that the active cases included 10 in East Khasi Hills, five each in West Jaiñtia Hills and West Garo Hills and four in South West Garo Hills.
Hek informed that out of 12513 swab samples tested for COVID-19 infection in the State till date, 12,169 came out negative, while the results of 300 tests were awaited.
