New Delhi | July 2025: In a moment of immense pride for Meghalaya, Kong Rose Angeline Kharsyntiew from the Eastern West Khasi Hills District was conferred with the prestigious CSC Udyami Ratna Samman at a national-level event held in New Delhi.
She received the honour from Dr. Rajneesh, Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), in the presence of Shri Sanjay K. Rakesh, Managing Director & CEO of CSC SPV, during a grand ceremony at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre.
Kong Rose was the only woman selected to represent the state of Meghalaya at this year’s event, making her recognition even more significant. The award celebrates her exceptional contribution through her Common Service Centre (CSC) in delivering crucial public services to people residing in remote and rural parts of the Eastern West Khasi Hills.
Through her consistent dedication, she has helped bridge the digital divide in her community, empowering citizens with access to government services, financial inclusion, and digital literacy.
Her achievement has brought great honour to her family, district, and the entire state of Meghalaya, and serves as an inspiring example of grassroots leadership and commitment to public service.
